The smart way to explore
The Monte Carlo design is brimming with high-contrast black components turning the Kamiq into a stylish model dripping with glamour and steeped in the enduring racing traditions associated with this place.
A car to embellish the boulevards
Hit the streets with the class and grace of Monte Carlo, the inspiration for this timeless urban SUV. High-gloss black components – the grille frame and front-bumper inserts – adorn the robust front section, which features split TOP LED Matrix headlights. The black elements are a perfect match whatever body colour you choose.
Robust elegance
The rear section, with its high-gloss black roof rails and standard-fit TOP LED tail lights incorporating dynamic turn indicators, instantly defines the Kamiq Monte Carlo’s sporty spirit. The rear bumper is dominated by a powerful black diffuser. The Škoda and model name in black lettering is a unique detail.
Thrilling ambience
Sitting at the wheel of the Kamiq Monte Carlo will make you see the notion of driving pleasure in a whole new light. Grip the sporty leather multifunction steering wheel, which comes complete with shift paddles, and stay abreast of what’s happening with the optional customisable Virtual Cockpit featuring sporty graphics. The carbon-look décor with red hot stamping and the colour-toggling ambient lighting contribute to the interior’s dynamic appearance.
Sports seats
In order to make this dynamic model’s driving experience complete, the interior is fitted with proper sports seats. Robust yet comfortable, these sports seats, boasting a unique Monte Carlo design and lateral support, will hug you close at every turn.
Panoramic roof
The large panoramic roof with a sunshade delivers plenty of daylight into the interior. The glass is tinted black, so only a comfortable amount of light and heat is allowed to enter the vehicle.
Monte Carlo racing legacy
In 1936, Škoda first caused a sensation at the Rally Monte Carlo, which had been taking place since 1911. Zdeněk Pohl / Jaroslav Hausman drove the Škoda Popular to a second-place finish in the 1,500-cc category and Škoda subsequently launched a sporty road version of this model – thus was born the Monte Carlo model family. This also marked the start of new racing triumphs for Škoda cars.
The Škoda family of models continues this long-running tradition by offering three compact models – the Kamiq, Fabia and Scala – in a Monte Carlo version teeming with style and racing spirit so that you too can become part of Škoda’s long rally history.
Make your life easier with new-generation connectivity thanks to features including a touchscreen infotainment system and connection between your smartphone and the car via SmartLink.
State-of-the-art infotainment system
The Škoda Kamiq Monte Carlo comes standard with a 9.2″ infotainment system with navigation. Further features include Virtual cockpit, SmartLink connection to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, bluetooth, USB-C ports in the front and rear and an 8 speaker sound system.
SmartLink
SmartLink provides you with a connection between your smartphone and the in-built infotainment via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Play music, navigate, deal with your text messages and calls, or listen to your favourite podcast.
Up to 5 USB-C ports
The Kamiq Monte Carlo is standard-fit with four fast-charging USB-C ports (45 W) – two in the front and two in the back. A fifth USB-C port can also be optionally added by the rear-view mirror to charge a camera.
Amundsen
The Amundsen navigation system is controlled via a full-glass 9.2” multitouch and gesture-control screen. The display features proximity sensors: as soon as a finger comes near it, the system switches automatically to operating mode. Pinch-to-zoom functions familiar from smartphones make operation easy. The advanced 12-speaker Škoda surround audio system tops off the Kamiq audio system.
Digital dash
A perfect overview is provided by the freely programmable digital dash – 10.25″ digital instrument cluster, which offers a choice of five display layouts. On-board instrument data along with other information, such as navigation, media playback and phone, are displayed on a beautiful 10.25″ digital display.
USB-C ports
The Kamiq Monte Carlo is equipped as standard with two modern backlit front USB-C ports for data transmission and recharging. Three additional USB-C ports can optionally be added – one by the rear view miror to charge a camera and two for rear passengers to charge their devices.
Smartlink+
Škoda Kamiq Monte Carlo’s ‘SmartLink’ system delivers a seamless connection between the car and your smartphone with support for Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Mirrorlink™ technologies.
Through a simple and intuitive connection, Kamiq Scoutline’s central touchscreen becomes an extension of your own phone. With Smartlink, you can navigate around town to your favourite hotspots or simply drive to the beat of the tunes stored on your smartphone.Ticket holder on the a-pillar
The smallest things are always the easiest to lose. Car park tickets for example. Luckily, Škoda has a straightforward solution: a Simply Clever ticket holder that clips neatly to the side of the windscreen within easy reach.
Front bottle holders
One of many ingenious bottle holders is conveniently located in the front doors and includes storage for a 1.5-litre bottle.
Integrated funnel in the lid of the windscreen washer tank
You can also find Simply Clever solutions under the bonnet. The Kamiq features a cleverly designed rubber lid for the washer fluid tank. It opens into a practical funnel so you can easily top up the fluid without making a mess.
Armrest with two cup holders
The rear folding armrest not only makes travelling comfortable, but also incorporates a holder for two 0.5-litre bottles, where backseat passengers can conveniently put their drinks.
Virtual Cockpit
The Monte Carlo includes a freely programmable Virtual Cockpit, which offers a choice of five display layouts. On-board instrument data along with other information, such as navigation, media playback and phone, are displayed on a beautiful 10.25″ screen that changes colour to match the shade of ambient lighting that has been selected.
Electric tailgate
The Škoda Kamiq Monte Carlo’s tailgate can be optionally operated by pressing a button from the driver’s seat, with the remote-controlled key, or by pressing a button on the tailgate.
KESSY
You no longer need to be holding your key in order to open and lock your car. The KESSY (Keyless Entry, Start and exit SYstem) control unit recognises the key and the vehicle unlocks automatically when the door handles or tailgate are operated. The engine starts at the push of a button.
Fast-charging USB-C ports
Good news! No more quarrelling over USB ports. Four USB-C ports with quick 45 W charging are fitted in the Kamiq as standard.
Front and rear parking sensors
The exterior mirrors on the Kamiq are electrically heated, eliminating ice and condensation build-up quickly. They’re also electrically adjustable and folding, so you can easy set them to the perfect position and they will automatically fold-in when locked, helping to prevent damage while parked.
Adaptive Cruise control
Adaptive Cruise Control enhances driver comfort by maintaining a safe distance from vehicles ahead. It automatically adjusts the engine and brakes to accelerate or decelerate as needed. This system not only improves your driving experience and safety but also helps reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
Cargo elements
In typical Škoda style, the Škoda Kamiq’s boot also offers hugely practical features. Items can be secured in the boot using cargo fasteners. Just slide your boxes and shopping bags, for example, between the fasteners and they will no longer slide around. The cargo fasteners can be folded away and stored under the boot floor.
Boot nets
Thanks to the cleverly designed network of meshing, hooks and shelves in the boot, there is no need to compromise between agility and practicality. The boot nets with securing hooks prevent smaller items from moving around.
Hooks in the boot
The great variability and use of the Kamiq’s boot also benefits from two sturdy hooks on the sides. They are designed to hang items or baggage which would otherwise be unstable or would not fit on the boot floor.
Ticket holder
The smallest things are always the easiest to lose. Car park tickets for example. Luckily, Škoda has a straightforward solution: a Simply Clever ticket holder that clips neatly to the side of the windscreen within easy reach.
Ice scraper
A great Simply Clever detail, handy when the first frost descends. Now you don’t have to ransack your car in search of a scraper or resort to your credit card. The ice scraper located in the fuel filler flap will be ready and waiting whenever you need it. Tyre tread depth gauges, with lines spaced 2 mm apart, are incorporated in both lower corners of the scraper. This makes it easy to check the condition of a tyre and to find out in good time when it no longer complies with statutory regulations.
Integrated funnel
You can also find Simply Clever solutions under the bonnet. The Kamiq Scoutline features a cleverly designed rubber lid for the washer fluid tank. It opens into a practical funnel so you can easily top up the fluid without making a mess.
Umbrella in door
The Škoda Kamiq Monte Carlo has an umbrella compartment in the drivers front door, allowing for the storage of umbrellas in case you get caught in the rain. The compartment is water-resistant so wet umbrellas can be stored here. The water from the umbrellas is drained outside the car.
Front Assist with city autonomous braking
The Front Assist is a collision-alert safety system. Faced with an unavoidable collision, it applies the brakes to minimise the consequences. It also performs an emergency stop if a pedestrian dangerously attempts to cross the path of the car.
Side Assist
<p>Thanks to two radar sensors at the rear of the car, the Side Assist <strong>detects vehicles approaching from behind</strong> or that are in the car’s blind spot. The driver is informed of this using an LED signal on the inside of the wing mirror housings. Side Assist can detect vehicles up to 70 m away and thus also effectively warns the driver of hazardous situations on motorways and dual carriageways.</p>
Crew protect assist
This feature coordinates the activities of the onboard systems to minimise emergency traffic situations. The system pre-tensions the front seat belts in the event of imminent collision or in unstable driving situations, such as severe over- or understeering, and also engages with the ESC to close the side windows almost fully in order to prevent foreign objects from entering the vehicle.
Rear-view camera
When reverse gear is engaged, the camera in the tailgate is activated and the image is shown on the infotainment system display. The system shows the space behind the car and indicates the driving line, based on the vehicle width.
Adaptive cruise control
Using a radar device in the front grille, in addition to its basic cruise control function, this assistant system maintains a safe distance from vehicles in front of you, controlling the engine and actuating the brakes to automatically accelerate or decelerate as needed. The system increases driver comfort and driver safety while also reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
Lane assist
The lane assist recognizes an unintended departure from the lane, providing a visual message, and initiates corrective steering. It is activated at speeds above 65 km/h provided that there aree recognisable lane markings on the road surface and the turn signal has not been turned on.
Driver alert (fatigue detection)
Driver alert reduces the risk of a fatigue-induced emergency. By monitoring driver behaviour, the system assesses the degree of driver fatigue and, if necessary, warns of the need for a rest and break in the journey.
TOP LED Matrix headlights
The headlights of the Škoda Kamiq Monte Carlo use LEDs for all of their functions. LED technologies’ many upsides include their longer life and the fact that they are less of a drain on power. On top of that, they feature the cutting-edge Matrix function.
Matrix function
Using a multifunction camera that detects light sources from oncoming vehicles, the Matrix function of the TOP LED headlights masks out the light distribution around other vehicles or traffic signs in real time with individually switchable LED chips in each headlight. This results in a perfectly illuminated road ahead and greater safety.
TOP LED taillights
The TOP LED taillights incorporate diodes to play every role. Their specialities include an eye-catching dynamic turn indicator.
Our 1.5l TSI delivers a remarkable 110kW while upholding consumption figures that’ll satisfy the most economical of drivers. It’s paired to a number of vehicles throughout the Škoda range.

The official fuel consumption, emissions, and EV range figures determined by the WLTP test should be used as a guide only, or for vehicle to vehicle comparison. Actual results may vary due to factors such as driving or environmental conditions. For further information, please visit https://www.skoda.co.nz/owners/wltp
The Worldwide Harmonized Light-Duty Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP) is designed to provide a standardised measurement and enables the consumer to make reliable comparisons between vehicles in terms of energy (fuel and/or electricity) consumption, emissions, and electric vehicle range. However, it should be noted that the results of this test may not accurately reflect the actual fuel consumption, emissions, or range that a driver might experience in the real world. Actual results may vary depending on various factors such as driving style, road conditions, temperature, weather, vehicle load, and maintenance. Therefore, the WLTP results should be considered as an indicator of the vehicle’s performance and not as a guarantee of the actual energy consumption, emissions, or range that a driver will experience in real-world driving conditions, or for making a vehicle-to-vehicle comparison. All WLTP test values are provided in accordance with New Zealand Land transport Rule: Vehicle Efficiency and Emissions Data 2022.
