130 Years of Innovation, Resilience, and Vision – The Škoda Story
In 2025, we proudly celebrate 130 years of Škoda Auto – a remarkable journey that began with a shared dream and two bicycle pioneers in
Made for more than kerbstones
The Superb Scout’s rugged design lends the car an air of exclusivity that all but invites you to set off in search of new adventure.
The iconic Škoda design language
The design language’s clear geometry, striking contoured surfaces, sculptural shapes, purist precision and elegant lines – as if crafted from a single block – are captivating. The compelling expressive nature of the exterior continues seamlessly into the vehicle’s interior.
Distinctive and powerful
Precise, authentic, dynamic — the front view of the Škoda Superb Scout is now characterised by a reworked wide radiator grille and the completely revamped bumper with swith standard LED headlights and fog lights.
Strong and crisp
Crisp-cut, expressive, and equally impressive — we’ve given the rear of our flagship model a redesign, with full LED taillights and the Škoda name in letters replacing the brand logo between them. The brand name is underlined by an elegant chrome-plated strip. More width, more presence, more clarity.
The high-quality interior provides ample room teeming with sophisticated details found only in the Superb Scout.
A racing ambience full of comfort
The interior of the Škoda Superb Scout boasts a dynamic design that retains maximum comfort. Distinctively sporty, the interior features are black and include the roof lining, the 3-spoke multifunction sports steering wheel, floor mats with a silver lining, and sports seats.
Stainless steel pedals
Stainless steel pedals play an important role in making the car’s interior more elegant. They make the driver’s foot well more interesting optically and their silver colour matches the other chromed interior elements. They are fitted with rubber spots, so your foot never slips.
Amunsden
Amundsen navigation system is controlled via 8″ colour LCD touchscreen with resolution of 800×480 pixels. The display features proximity sensors: As soon as a finger comes near it, the system switches automatically to operating mode. Pinch–to–zoom functions familiar from smartphones make operation easy.
Digital dash
A perfect overview is provided by the freely programmable optional digital dash – 10.25″ digital instrument cluster, which offers a choice of five display layouts.
On-board instrument data along with other information, such as navigation, media playback and phone, are displayed on a beautiful 10.25″ digital display.
Smartlink+
SmartLink+ provides you with a connection between your smartphone and the in-built infotainment via Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink™. Use the navigation system, play music and podcasts via your favourite apps or deal with your text messages and calls.
Wireless charging
The storage compartment in the centre console of the Superb Scout enables wireless charging and wireless connection to Smartlink.
2 USB ports in the back
Good news! No more quarrels over USB ports. The Superb Scout has them in spades. Two optional USB ports are prepared for the back seat passengers, with another USB port in the front.
Electric child safety lock
Using the mechanical rear-door child safety lock requires foresight when you’re sometimes in the car with children, other times with adults. You can activate and deactivate the rear-door locks electronically from the driver’s seat whenever you need to.
Umbrella in door
The Škoda Superb Scout has an umbrella compartment in the drivers front door, allowing for the storage of umbrellas in case you get caught in the rain. The compartment is water-resistant so wet umbrellas can be stored here. The water from the umbrellas is drained outside the car.
Ticket holder
The smallest things are always the easiest to lose. Car park tickets for example. Luckily Škoda has the straightforward, practical, value for money solution. A Simply Clever ticket holder that clips neatly to the side of the windscreen within easy reach of the driver. Your tickets will remain safe and sound, in an obvious place, so you can reach for them when needed. They are also highly visible to anyone inspecting your ticket from outside the car.
Ice-scraper
A great “Simply Clever” detail, handy when the first frost descends. Now you don’t have to ransack your car in search of a scraper or resort to your credit card. The ice-scraper located in the fuel filler flap will be ready and waiting whenever you need it.
Adjustable false boot floor
The adjustable false boot allows you to divide the boot into two different positions. Simply pull out the loading floor to bring it into the lower position. The system delivers convenient storage space.
Flexible organiser
The aluminium flexible organiser enables you to split the space according to your needs and makes it easier to keep things neat and tidy.
Coat shelf
Another practical feature is the new coat shelf, which can be found under the roller cover. This can hold items, such as coats, blazers, and jackets.
Jumbo box
The jumbo box is a practical storage compartment located in the adjustable armrest between the front seats, and is easily accessible by the driver and the co-driver.
Cooled glove compartment
Another advantage of the air-conditioning is that it cools the glove box, making this the perfect place to store snacks. The cooling level can be regulated.
1.5-litre bottle holder in front door
One of many ingenious bottle holders is conveniently located in the front doors.
1.5-litre bottle holders in rear doors
As well as a large space to store a water bottle in the front doors, there’s further capacity in the rear doors too, perfectly designed to hold a 1.5 litre bottle securely while not in use.
Front assist with collision avoidance assist
The front assist is a collision-alert safety system. Faced with an unavoidable collision, it applies the brakes to minimise the consequences. It also performs an emergency stop if a pedestrian or cyclist dangerously attempts to cross the path of the car.
In a critical situation where front assist intervenes by braking and the driver indicates they are taking evasive action by the way they move the steering wheel, collision avoidance assist makes targeted interventions in the steering to help drive around the obstacle.
Lane assist
The feature can tell when you stray from a lane unintentionally. The system is active at speeds above 65 km/h, on condition that there are recognisable lane markings on the road and the indicator has not been turned on prior to crossing a marking.
Adaptive cruise control
The adaptive cruise contol (ACC) maintains a safe distance from the vehicle ahead at a selected speed, controlling the engine and actuating the brakes to automatically accelerate or decelerate as needed. The mechanism combines the cruise control system with a radar-based distance controller.
Park distance control with manoeuvre assist
The system warns of the potential risk of collision with obstacles during parking by drawing data from sensors, the driving parameters and the steering wheel angle. To avoid those parking situations where you don’t brake in time in response to the distance alerts, the Superb Scout incorporates manoeuvre assist, a feature that stops the car to avoid collision.
Rear-view camera with washer
When reverse gear is engaged, the camera in the tailgate is activated and the image is shown on the infotainment system display. Dynamic guide lines laid over the image show the direction in which the vehicle would go with the position of the steering wheel or indicate when it should be turned.
Rain & light assist
The Superb Scout is fitted with a rain sensor to automatically activate and control the speed of the wipers. The light sensor activates the car’s lights automatically when the intensity of ambient light falls below a specified value (for example when driving through a tunnel or at dusk).
Front and rear parking sensors
Parking the Superb Scout is easy due to its excellent manoeuvrability. What is more, you can be assisted by parking sensors integrated in the rear and front bumper, which check the car’s distance from any obstacles.
KESSY
Open or close the door, start or stop the engine, all without having to search for your key? That is the comfort provided by the optional KESSY system. Simply pull the door handle and the vehicle will unlock automatically. Start the car by pushing the button located to the right of the steering column.
LED headlights
The Škoda Superb Scout is delivered with standard-fit LED headlights incorporating diodes for dipped and full beam, the position light and daytime running lights.
LED tail lights
The Superb Scout is standard-supplied with LED tail lights, where there are diodes for the brake, tail and fog lights.
Driver and passenger airbags
They protect the driver and the passenger from injury in case of impact.
Front side airbags
The front side airbags effectively protect the pelvis and chest of the driver and front passenger.
Rear side airbags
Rear side airbags protect the pelvis and chest of rear passengers.
Curtain airbags
Curtain airbags protect passengers from any impact to the side of the car.
Driver's knee airbag
The driver’s knee airbag stops the driver’s knees from contacting the lower part of the dashboard in the event of a frontal impact.
The powerful 206kW, 2.0l TSI delivers breathtaking performance. This pairing makes 3rd generation Superb our most agile yet. The pinnacle offering for New Zealand’s Highway Patrol.

The official fuel consumption, emissions, and EV range figures determined by the WLTP test should be used as a guide only, or for vehicle to vehicle comparison. Actual results may vary due to factors such as driving or environmental conditions. For further information, please visit https://www.skoda.co.nz/owners/wltp
The Worldwide Harmonized Light-Duty Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP) is designed to provide a standardised measurement and enables the consumer to make reliable comparisons between vehicles in terms of energy (fuel and/or electricity) consumption, emissions, and electric vehicle range. However, it should be noted that the results of this test may not accurately reflect the actual fuel consumption, emissions, or range that a driver might experience in the real world. Actual results may vary depending on various factors such as driving style, road conditions, temperature, weather, vehicle load, and maintenance. Therefore, the WLTP results should be considered as an indicator of the vehicle’s performance and not as a guarantee of the actual energy consumption, emissions, or range that a driver will experience in real-world driving conditions, or for making a vehicle-to-vehicle comparison. All WLTP test values are provided in accordance with New Zealand Land transport Rule: Vehicle Efficiency and Emissions Data 2022.
