The roomy interior is dominated by an instrument panel with soft-foam surfaces and a free-standing display enclosed with decorative trim and hot stamping. Climatronic dual-zone air conditioning
The Climatronic air conditioning lets you enjoy the comfort of an automatically maintained temperature in the car. The Climatronic has two zones, so the driver and passenger can set their own temperatures. The Air Care feature efficiently purifies the air inside the vehicle. A humidity sensor reduces windshield fogging and enhances climate comfort.
Panoramic roof
The large optional panoramic roof with a sunshade delivers plenty of daylight into the interior. The glass is tinted black, so only a comfortable amount of light and heat is allowed to enter the vehicle.
XXL luggage compartment
The practical regularly-shaped luggage compartment with numerous attachment points and hooks offers a generous 467 litres. When the 60/40 split rear backrests are folded down, the boot volume rises to a copious 1,410 litres.

The 5-star Scala
The Euro NCAP has awarded the Škoda Scala the highest possible rating of five stars, thereby certifying that the car offers optimum protection for all those on board. In the Adult Occupant Protection category, the Scala received a score of 97 per cent of all possible points. This is one of the highest ratings in the history of the Euro NCAP.
9 Airbags
The Škoda Scala provides a high level of passive safety with up to nine airbags and a proactive occupant protection system, crew protect assist.
Driver-assistance systems
The compact Scala offers a host of advanced driver-assistance systems previously the preserve of higher-end vehicles to keep an eye on safety in busy city traffic and on long stretches of motorway.
The Scala is built on a state-of-the-art MQB platform, featuring advanced design, the latest powertrain and an array of the advanced driver-assistance systems common place in larger models.
Driving Mode Select
Driving Mode Select allows you to set the car’s parameters and behaviour to your needs or mood. The main principle is that there are four driving modes to choose from: Normal, Sport, Eco and Individual. These modes adjust the settings of the engine, the DSG gearbox, power steering, air-conditioning, etc.
DSG gearbox
The Scala features an automatic DSG transmission. The DSG is an automatic gearbox equipped with two independent gearboxes and clutches. Its main advantages include the ability to change gears smoothly at lightning speeds, while keeping to low fuel consumption. The Scala can be fitted with an optional steering wheel with DSG shift controls for the ultimate driving experience.

State-of-the-art infotainment systems
The Škoda Scala comes standard with an 8.25″ infotainment system. Further features include SmartLink connection to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, bluetooth, USB-C ports in the front and rear and an 8 speaker sound system.
SmartLink
SmartLink provides you with a connection between your smartphone and the in-built infotainment via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Play music, navigate, deal with your text messages and calls, or listen to your favourite podcast.
USB-C ports
The Scala is equipped as standard with four fast-charging USB-C ports (45 W) – two in the front and two in the back. Now offering increased charging performance.
Holders for 1.5-litre bottles in the front doors
One of many ingenious bottle holders is conveniently located in the front doors and includes storage for a 1.5-litre bottle.
Ticket holder on the A-pillar
The smallest things are always the easiest to lose. Car park tickets for example. Luckily, Škoda has a straightforward solution: a Simply Clever ticket holder that clips neatly to the side of the windscreen within easy reach.
Integrated funnel in the lid of the windscreen washer tank
You can also find Simply Clever solutions under the bonnet. The Scala features a cleverly designed rubber lid for the washer fluid tank. It opens into a practical funnel so you can easily top up the fluid without making a mess.
Armrest with two cup holders
The rear folding armrest not only makes travelling comfortable, but also incorporates a holder for two 0.5-litre bottles, where backseat passengers can conveniently put their drinks.
Cargo elements
In typical Škoda style, the Škoda Scala’s boot also offers hugely practical features. Items can be secured in the boot using our optional cargo fasteners. Just slide your boxes and shopping bags, for example, between the fasteners and they will no longer slide around. The cargo fasteners can be folded away and stored under the boot floor.
Boot nets
Thanks to the cleverly designed network of meshing, hooks and shelves in the boot, there is no need to compromise between agility and practicality. The optional boot nets with securing hooks prevent smaller items from moving around.

The great variability and use of the Scala’s boot also benefits from two sturdy hooks on the sides. They are designed to hang items or baggage which would otherwise be unstable or would not fit on the boot floor.
Double-sided boot liner
This optional accessory offers you the best of both worlds. On one side there’s a practical and easily washable surface, on the other, elegant textile carpeting. The mat can simply be turned over to provide a surface suited to the load.
Front Assist with city autonomous braking
The Front Assist is a collision-alert safety system. Faced with an unavoidable collision, it applies the brakes to minimise the consequences. It also performs an emergency stop if a pedestrian dangerously attempts to cross the path of the car.
Crew Protect Assist
This feature coordinates the activities of the onboard systems to minimise emergency traffic situations. The system pre-tensions the front seat belts in the event of imminent collision or in unstable driving situations, such as severe over- or understeering, and also engages with the ESC to close the side windows almost fully in order to prevent foreign objects from entering the vehicle.
Multi-collision brake
If a Scala is involved in an accident and the airbags are activated, it could remain in motion and cause another accident, which is where the Multi-Collision Brake comes in, bringing the vehicle to a standstill to prevent a pile-up.
Driver alert (fatigue detection)
Driver alert reduces the risk of a fatigue-induced emergency. By monitoring driver behaviour, the system assesses the degree of driver fatigue and, if necessary, warns of the need for a rest and break in the journey.
Lane Assist
The lane assist recognizes an unintended departure from the lane, providing a visual message, and initiates corrective steering. It is activated at speeds above 65 km/h provided that there aree recognisable lane markings on the road surface and the turn signal has not been turned on.
Rear-view camera
When reverse gear is engaged, the camera in the tailgate is activated and the image is shown on the infotainment system display. The system shows the space behind the car and indicates the driving line, based on the vehicle width.
LED headlights
The Škoda Scala is delivered with standard-fit LED headlights incorporating diodes for all of their functions. LED technologies’ many upsides include their longer life and the fact that they are less of a drain on power.
LED taillights
The Škoda Scala is standard-supplied with taillights with a crystalline design incorporating LED diodes for the taillight and brake light.
